Westrafo provide two transformers to solar plant

 Westrafo has commisionned two power transformers at a photovoltaic plant in Spain.

The Italian transformer manufacturer had been selected by a prestigious German EPC to provide two power transformers with a nominal power of 23 and 15 MVA for a photovoltaic plant in Spain.

Westrafo were able to deliver and install the transformers in a very short time, completing a primary power substation on site. The commissioning of the transformers was successful.

Thanks to recent investments, Westrafo have been able to significantly increased production capacity, namely in the production of power transformers with a nominal power of 40MVA and voltage class of 170 KV.
