Teba to set up new transformer factory in Egypt

 Egypt, Cairo: Teba for Development Industries plans to establish a $16.8 million power transformer manufacturing facility in 2018, according to Teba Chairman Mohamed Soliman.

The power transformer plant will be constructed in the 10th of Ramadan City, spreading over 22,000 square metres, reports Mubasher.

For the project, Teba plans to strike a partnership with a Chinese company to set up the new facility.

The company aims to export 25 % of its production to Arab and African countries, including Sudan and Guinea.
