New transformer station under construction in Volga Region

Russia, Nizhny Novgorod: Last week Nizhny Novgorod’s regional utility company, Nizhnovenergo, completed installation of the equipment at a new 35/6 kV transformer substation under construction in Vyksa District.

As part of the works, the company installed the power transformer and circuit breakers, 35 kV switchgear andcontrol equipment, and a 2.7-km long overhead line to connect the facility to the grid, reports EnergyLand.

The construction of the substation will be completed in December this year.
