T&R India successfully tests 315 MVA, 400 kV autotransformer at KEMA

 India, Gujarat: T&R India Ltd has successfully tested their 315 MVA, 400 kV autotransformer for dynamic short circuit test at the KEMA test facility in the Netherlands, the company states in the press release.

The 315 MVA, 400/220/33 kV autotransformer has been developed as part of T&R India’s in-house R&D project at its Ahmedabad plant, and it was subjected to dynamic short circuit test at the world renowned KEMA short circuit test laboratory in Netherlands as per IEC 60076-5.

The successful short circuit testing of this transformer has shown T&R India’s design and manufacturing capability to build short-circuit proof transformers of large capacities.
