Omani company to supply 4,900 transformers to Qatar

 Qatar, Doha: Voltamp Oman has won an $88 million contract with Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) for the supply of 4,900 transformers for the electric distribution grid in Qatar.

The transformers will be supplied to Kahramaa over the next two years, and will be used for the power distribution network of Kahramaa in infrastructure projects, industrial projects as well as for residential units across the country.

The new equipment will also support 2022 projects and facilities.
