MR MESSKO INSTRUMENTS launches new MESSKO® MSENSE® X2.5 oil analysis sensor

 Germany, Oberursel: MESSKO INSTRUMENTS, a subsidiary of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH, has launched a new transformer oil analysis sensor MESSKO® MSENSE® X2.5.

The new sensor focuses on monitoring the concentrations of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and moisture in the insulating oil of power transformers. Semiconductor sensors, capacitive moisture sensor, inert measurement chamber, and a new 2-stage measurement procedure ensure high-precision measurements.

The sensor has a solid stainless steel housing protecting the gas extraction and measurement unit from extreme environmental influences. It is not affected by aggressive ambient conditions and makes possible measurement directly in the transformer's oil flow.

The MESSKO® MSeT® software provides needs-based parameterization.
