ITM Power builds new 1 MW substation for acceptance testing

 UK, Yorkshire: ITM Power, the Sheffield-based energy and clean fuel company, has begun expansion of the manufacturing facilities at its Atlas Way Site in Sheffield.

The expansion includes the provision of power for factory acceptance testing of 1 MW units to meet growing production demands, reports Proactive Investors UK.

For this purpose, Northern Powergrid will install a 1MW power transformer, with the option to increase the supply agreement when required.
