Two transformers delivered to new substation in Gambach

 Germany, Gambach: Two large power transformers have been delivered at the new substation being built in Gambach by the German utility company Bayernwerk.

The new transformers are 6.79 meters long, 3.15 meters wide and 4.43 meters high, each weighing close to 60 tonnes, the utility said in a statement.

Scheduled for completion in spring 2017, the new substation project costs around €3 million and includes a 110 kV switchgear designed for the futureexpansion and addition of a third transformer.
