Energoatom purchases $73M transformer

 Ukraine, Zaporyzhye: Energoatom, a Ukrainian state enterprise operating all four nuclear power stations in Ukraine, has purchased a $73 million transformer from the Ukraininan transformer manufacturer Zaporozhtransformator (ZTR).

The purchased auto transformer is intended for the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant, reports Gigamir.

The purchase was made on April 28 following an open tender procedure, and the delivery is scheduled for July 2016.
