Dagenergoset installs a new power transformer in Makhachkala

 Russia, Dagestan: Dagenergoset has installed a new transformer of the capacity 6.3 MVA at the Sun substation in Makhachkala, Dagestan.

The North Caucasus power company’s experts performed the construction, installation and commissioning of the new transformer, which replaced the old power transformer 2.5 MVA, reports Energyland.

The Sun substation supplies power to the suburbs of Makhachkala, towns in the Sulak River Delta and a holiday resort near Makhachkala. Due to the increased power demand and a constant load growth, this was a long overdue replacement of electrical equipment.
