2015-8-4
Russia, Leningrad Oblast: Gatchina Electric Networks, a branch of the Russian electric power distributor Lenenergo, has completed reconstruction works on the 110/35/10 kV Ryabovo substation, located in the urban locality southeast of Saint Petersburg.
As part of a comprehensive upgrade project, new power transformers manufactured by Zaporozhye Transformer Plant (ZTR) have been installed, which have enabled an increase in transformer capacity to 2 x 25 MVA, reports Stroy Plus.
This is the first time that Lenenergo has put into operation gas-insulated power transformers at its facilities.
Ryabovo substation feeds electricity to the Russian railways traction substation, Ryabovo ceramics factory, as well as many public facilities such as schools and hospitals.
