National Grid plans new electric substation in South Buffalo

 USA, New York: The British-owned power company, National Grid, is planning to build a new substation on Fuhrmann Boulevard in South Buffalo, aiming to maintain adequate electric service for its customers in a growing part of the city with increased demand.

The new substation will replace the existing facility and will include two transformers, six feeders and all other electric equipment necessary for the operation of the station, reports The Buffalo News.

This is the second such project by the utility in the past year.
