Sri Lankan manufacturer supplies 1,000 transformers to Pakistan

 Sri Lanka’s transformer manufacturing company LTL Transformers has received an order for the supply of 1,000 distribution transformers from the Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) in Pakistan.

The transformers in the class of 11 kV will be manufactured at the transformer factory in Angulana, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, reports Daily Mirror.

The value of the contract is $8.8 million, which, according to LTL Transformers, is one of the largest export orders won by the company since it started manufacturing transformers over 30 years ago.
