Siemens to deliver transformer units to Polish power station

 A new combined cycle gas turbine power plant being built northwest of Warsaw, Poland is being equipped with components for the project.

A transformer weighing 277 tonnes and two phase shifters weighing 110 tonnes each will be delivered to the site by Siemens Transportation Team and Felbermayr, reports Cranes Today.

The units have been manufactured at Siemens plants in Weiz and Linz in Austria and will make a journey of approximately 1,000 kilometres on their way to the power plant, which is being built by PKN Orlen.
