New transformer to be installed in New Ulm

2017-7-5

USA, Minnesota: NEW ULM — The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has awarded a bid for the installation of a second transformer at the Southside Substation in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Conductor Power, who won the bid, should deliver the 69 kV power transformer at the beginning of March after the testing is performed.

With industrial expansion in the area, a second transformer is considered necessary for the substation to be able to carry the power load.
