Kalpataru Power Transmission wins orders worth over $138M

Indian engineering, procurement and construction firm Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has won three orders with the total value exceeding $138 million.
The company bagged a turnkey order from the Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation for the construction of 765 kV D/C transmission lines and a contract from the Power Grid Corporation and state electricity boards for a substation and a transmission line, reports Business Standard.
The third contract was awarded by the Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE) for the design, supply, testing and commissioning of the railway electrification equipment and traction substation works.
