IMP Powers successfully tests 160 MVA, 220 kV transformer

 India, Haryana: Indian transformer manufacturer IMP Powers announced that the company has successfully tested a 160 MVA, 220/66 kV power transformer manufactured for HVPNL, Haryana state power utility.

The transformer has successfully passed the dynamic short-circuit test in the first attempt, reports The Hindu Business Line.

This testing was performed by an Indian testing facility CPRI Bangalore.
