Edenor investing $44M in new transformers across Pilar district

 Argentina, Buenos Aires: Argentina’s largest electricity distributor, Edenor, will be investing $44 million over the next five years in a project that will oversee numerous transformer installations throughout the district of Pilar.

Specifically, within the project 280 new transformers will be installed, with the works expected to begin next year, reports Total News.

The investment will also cover the expansion of the Derqui substation and adding a power transformer in Matheu.

The company is also planning to build a new substation in Pinazo by 2018.
