U.S. transformer company opening new facility in Wisconsin

 USA, Wisconsin: Solomon Corporation, a Kansas-based company specializing in the procurement of high-voltage and distribution transformers, will open a new facility in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin next month, THOnline reports.

Along with opening the new transformer facility, Solomon Corporation will hire 24 employees within the next three years, according to President and CEO Tom Hemmer.

The company officials has already hired 14 employees for its Prairie du Chien operations and will invest more than $2 million in its facility, equipment and other initiatives.

Most employees in Prairie du Chien will be electro-mechanical technicians who repair electrical transformers and other devices, Hemmer said.
