Marsons wins $118.4M power transformer order

 India, Odisha: Marsons Ltd has won a large power transformer order from an EPC contractor for IPDS and DDUGJY projects in Odisha, an eastern Indian state on the Bay of Bengal.

The order which is worth about $118.4 million includes the supply of 30 power transformers, reports Reuters.

IPDS (Integrated Power Development Scheme) and DDUGJY are Indian government electrification schemes, the former being a priority programme and the latter a scheme for rural areas.
