Transformer provider Hitachi HVB becomes Hitachi T&D Solutions

USA, Georgia: Power transformer provider Hitachi HVB, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., has announced that it has changed its name to Hitachi T&D Solutions, Inc.

The name change should more accurately reflect the company's expanded business scope in transmission & distribution business in the Americas.

The company will continue to be based in Suwanee, Georgia, USA.
