Alstom T&D India expands Bihar electrical transmission network

 India, Bihar: Alstom T&D India has signed three orders worth approximately €30 million to build two 220 kV and four 132 kV air insulated substations (AIS) for Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL).

The company will construct the 220/132/33 kV turnkey substations with power transformers and associated electrical equipment as well as the two units of associated 132 kV bay extension in Supaul, states the company in the press release.

All major equipment will be supplied from Alstom T&D India’s manufacturing facilities.
