SPML Infra wins $37.5M contracts for T&D projects in India

 India: SPML Infra has received new orders worth $37.5 million for several power transmission & distribution projects in West Bengal and Haryana states in India.

The awarded projects include a $16 million order for Rural Electricity Infrastructure Development for Agricultural Feeder Separation Works in Murshidabad and involves construction of 11 kV transmission lines, new substation with power transformers, renovation/augmentation of the existing 11 kV line and substation, and replacement of LT meters, all to be completed within 24 months.

The next order is a $13.5 million project from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for the extension of seven 400/220 kV AIS substations in Malda and other towns of West Bengal, including the supply of two 500 MVA instrument current transformers in Malda, reports EBR.

The third order of $7.3. million received from Haryana Vidhyut Prasran Nigam Limited includes design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 220 kV GIS substation in Faridabad, Haryana.
