SECO Supported National Industry With More Than SR 11 Billion In The Past 12 Months

Saudi Electricity Company (SECO) supported the national industry with an amount of more than SR 11 billion during the past 12 months in its efforts to consolidate and strengthen relations with the institutions and the private sector and deepen the strategic relationship with industrialists.

In a press statement issued here today, the Company's Executive President Engineer Ali bin Saleh Al-Barrak said that the purchase orders issued directly to the national factories by the SECO during the past 12 months were valued at SR 6.4 billion for the supply of its needs of the material distribution such as cables and poles, transformers, meters, and breakers, etc.

During the same period, he disclosed that the national factories provided to the SECO contractors with a number of products such as power transmission towers and control systems, cables and other high voltage (equipment) valued at more than SR 5 billion.
