Nepal invites bids for two turnkey substations

 Nepal, Kathmandu: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced an international tender for two substations on a turnkey basis.

The company is calling for bids for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a 220 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS) and a 220 kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS), which will include power transformers and all associated electrical equipment.

The project is financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Power System Expansion Project.
