NTDC installs 250 MVA power transformers in Lahore

 Pakistan, Lahore: Pakistani National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) has installed a 250 MVA power transformer at 220 kV grid station Bund Road Lahore and started electricity supply to 132 kV grid stations of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO).

The project has been performed under a comprehensive plan to mitigate forced load shedding and tripping experienced by LESCO customers, reports Daily Times.

This is a third 250 MVA power transformer that has been installed to replace a 160 MVA transformer at Bund Road grid station, while the forth transformer is in the process of installation.
