Efacec wins $11M substation contract in Guinea-Bissau

 Portuguese energy and power solutions provider Efacec has won an international contract worth $11.14 million for the construction of two electrical substations in Bor, the capital of Guinea-Bissau.

The two 30 kV substations, with power transformers and associated electrical equipment, will double the electrical capacity of Bissau, reports Africa Review.

In addition to building the two substations, the contract also includes construction of a 6.2 km long line to link the stations to the new thermal power station.
