EU’s power transformer exports rise by 69% in Q2 2020

EU’s exports of electrical power transformers (all sizes) increased by 68.67% for the second quarter of 2020, compared to the same quarter of last year (Q2 2019). According to real-time business intelligence provider Fygen, the increase in exports was mostly influenced by the segments of small power transformers (SPT) and large power transformers (LPT). Exports of small electrical power transformers (SPT) increased for the second quarter of 2020 by 19.66% at a value of US$26 million (USD), compared to the same quarter of last year (Q2 2019). Exports of large electrical power transformers (LPT) increased for the second quarter of 2020 by 103%, compared to the same quarter of last year (Q2 2019).
