BringCom has been awarded and has implemented a multi-year contract by Harris CapRock to provide fiber optic circuit connectivity and fiber construction services for a U.S. government facility in Djibouti.

The fiber optic circuit contract utilizes BringCom’s teleport facilities in Djibouti City, Republic of Djibouti, and its Network Operating Center (NOC) in Sterling, Virginia, USA. Harris CapRock is supplying managed network equipment and services to provide a custom end-to-end communications solution to the customer.

“This new contract reinforces BringCom’s position as the reliable provider of carrier-grade fiber optic services to U.S. Government prime contractors and international customers operating in the African and Middle Eastern global telecommunications markets,” said Jesse Robinson, Vice President-Federal Programs of BringCom. “It also reflects BringCom’s ever-increasing ability to service the needs of customers with very challenging telecommunication applications.”

Fulfilling the contract makes use of BringCom’s extensive local partnerships in Africa and its experience there with connectivity, construction of in-country facilities and continuing maintenance activities.
