Argentine Ministry of Federal has announced a tender for power transformers 500/138/34.5 kV 300 MVA

Argentine, La Rioja: The Argentine Ministry of Federal Planning has announced a public tender for the acquisition of two power transformers 500/138/34.5 kV – 300 MVA.


The head of the Argentine privatization agency EUCOP explained that one of the power transformers will be installed at the Sur La Rioja substation while the second will be used as a spare unit, reports Radio Fenix.

The installation of new units will improve the current power distribution network configuration, also creating benefits for Catamarca region through the Recreo substation.
