China’s National Energy Administration (NEA) is planning to invest $362.1 billion in infrastructure projects aimed at boosting the country's renewable energy sector by the end of 2020.

The investment plan will result in installation of renewable projects including wind, hydro, solar and nuclear power which would account for about half of new electricity generation by 2020, reports EBR.

According to the plan, the country is expected to commit about $72 billion annually for the projects, and install 42.5 GW of renewable power projects annually.
