18,000 power transformers to be inspected in Hanoi

 Vietnam, Hanoi: The Electricity of Vietnam’s (EVN) Hanoi Power Corporation said it plans to review over 18,000 power transformers across the city.

The aim of the plan is to inspect the protection corridors of the substations and make a list of the violated cases in an effort to prevent residents frommisusing power transformer stations, reports Cubird.

The plan has been announced following a recent incident in which a power transformer in Ha Dong district exploded due to oil leakage, killing one person and injuring four others.
