100 transformers to be installed in South-East Nigeria

Nigeria: The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has begun the installation of 100 transformers within states in the South-East Nigeria to boost electricity supply.

EEDC’s Head of Communications, Mr Eugene Anionwo said that the company had also begun repairs of its distribution equipment in substations and streets throughout the zone, reports The Guardian.

The five states where new transformers will be installed include Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo
