$2.5 million upgrade completed at Miass substation

 Russia, Yekaterinburg: Chelyabenergo, a branch of a Russian utility IDGC of Urals, has completed the reconstruction of the 110/10 kV Miass substation.

As a result of the modernization of, reported the press service of "IDGC of Urals".

The project included replacement of major components and systems, including the replacement of worn out 6.3 MVA power transformers with new 16 MVA transformers, reports TASS.

As a result of the works coming at the cost of $2.5 million, the installed capacity of the substation has more than doubled from 12.6 to 32 MVA.
