Toronto Hydro expanding transformer station at $48M

 Canada, Toronto: Toronto Hydro is investing around CAD 60 million (USD 48 million) into the expansion of Hydro One’s electricity infrastructure in the city’s west end.

The project includes upgrades to the existing Runnymede transformer station along with 10 kilometres of nearby transmission power lines, reports Inside Toronto.

The works began in June and are expected to be completed by December 2018.
