Snohomish PUD moves a massive transformer

 USA, Washington: Snohomish County PUD has moved a massive power transformer from their south Everett base to the Puget Park Substation on Beverly Boulevard in Everett.

This unit is the largest transformer in Snohomish County PUD’s system, and it was moved overnight after a four-hour journey, reports My Everett News.

The transformer is the centrepiece of the PUD’s first 230 kV transmission substation, in the Beverly Park neighbourhood of Everett.
