Six transformers successfully shipped to Saudi Arabia

 Saudi Arabia: A cargo of six transformers and auxiliary parts has been successfully delivered to sites at Tabuk and Jazan in Saudi Arabia.

The six transformers were destined for sites owned by the Saudi Electricity Co. and were completed on behalf of equipment manufacturer GE, reports breakbulk.

Each unit measured 39 metres long, 3.5 metres wide and 4.19 metres high, and weighed 96 tonnes.

The cargo arrived in the port of Jeddah and was transported from a staging area 800 kilometres to Jazan and 1,200 kilometers to Tabuk.
