Sharjah to build eight distribution stations in 2017

2017-2-4

UAE, Sharjah: Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority's (SEWA) plans to build up to eight electricity distribution stations in Sharjah this year.

The plans include the construction of three 132 kV and five 33 kV distribution stations this year, with power transformers and associated electrical equipment.

The planned infrastructure spending would account for 30% of Sharjah's $5.9 billion budget for 2017, reports Construction Week Online.

Last year, SEWA commissioned three 132 kV and eight 33 kV power stations in the emirate.
