Sarojini nagar in Lucknow powers up with new transformer

India, Uttar Pradesh: The capacity of Sarojini nagar substation in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh has been enhanced to 520 MVA with the installation of a new power transformer.

A new transformer of 200 MVA has been installed to replace the old 100 MVA transformer, increasing the capacity of the 420 MVA substation to 520 MVA, reports Times of India.

This is the first 200 MVA transformer in Lucknow with the rating 220/132 kV.
