SPECO's transformers obtain recognition by REN

 On 14 December 2016, three sets of SPECO's transformers received high recognition by the Portuguese utility company REN.

SPECO was awarded contract by REN for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of three power transformers for REN’s substation projects.

REN's CEO Rhodri Costa visited the installation site at Carregado substation, congratulating SPECO on the successful delivery of three sets of transformers, which are expected to be put into operation before the end of the year.

Mr. Costa said that the quality, appearance, product design and the after-sales service provided by SPECO satisfied all the relevant requirements of REN, and were in many ways superior to those from other European suppliers.

REN intends to continue cooperating with SPECO at the higher voltage level.
