MOESK invests $24 million in substation upgrades in Istrinsky

 Russia, Moscow Oblast: JSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK) is investing $24 million in the reconstruction of two power supply stations, Pernatovo 110 kV and Dedovo 110 kV, in the Istrinsky district.

The project includes replacement of power transformers at the new facility of Pernatovo substation, which will increase the installed capacity from 50 MW to 126 MW, reports Istravest.

In addition, two 63 MVA auto transformers will be installed at Dedovo substation after a reconstruction and upgrade of the existing power lines.

The whole project will increase the transformer capacity in the Istrinsky district to 152 MVA.

The commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2016.
