MOESK installs two new transformers in Balashikha

 Russia, Moscow: Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK) is reconstructing the power substation Almazovo in Balashikha near Moscow, which supplies electricity to a large part of the city.

The project includes the replacement of old power transformers with two new 63 MVA transformers, which have already been installed and tested. This will increase the capacity of the substation by 2.5 times, reports Interfax-Russia.

Almazovo substation supplies electricity to a large part of Balashikha, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other social facilities.
