Kortes hydroelectric plant to receive a revamp

USA, Wyoming: The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids to perform station service equipment replacement at the 36 MW Kortes hydroelectric plant in Wyoming.
Located on the North Platte River in Carbon County, Wyoming, Kortes is part of the U.S. government's Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin project.
The project will include replacement of AC and DC electrical distribution equipment and cables, provision of new 480-volt combination switchboard/switchgear D2A, combination transformer/load-centres D2B and D2C, 208/120-volt main lighting distribution cabinet L2A, lighting panel boards, conductors and raceway as well as modification of six motor-control/contactor-control circuits with the addition of control power transformers, reports Hydro Review.
The work is valued at $1 million to $5 million.
