Khanewal powering up with a new transformer

 Pakistan, Multan: The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is upgrading its 132 kV Khanewal T-4 Grid Station with a more powerful transformer to resolve complaints of low voltage.

A new 40 MVA power transformer will be installed to replace the existing 20/26 MVA transformer, reports Business Recorder.

Supply of electricity will remain suspended for 18 hours on 3 November until the new transformer is installed.
