GE Power & Water and Alstom Power combine to form GE Power

USA, New York: After GE announced the completion of the acquisition of Alstom’s power and grid businesses, the company further announced that GE Power & Water and Alstom Power have combined to form GE Power.

Headquartered in Schenectady, New York, Steve Bolze will serve as president and CEO of GE Power, the company states in the press release.

GE Power will have six businesses, including Power Services headquartered in Baden, Switzerland and led by Paul McElhinney, and Distributed Power headquartered in Jenbach, Austria, and led by Lorraine Bolsinger.
