CG to provide Veja Mate offshore substation

 Tndia, Mumbai: Avantha Group Company CG, along with other consortium partners Cofely Fabricom and lemants, has been awarded the contract for the turnkey supply and installation of HV offshore substation for the 400 MW Veja Mate Offshore Project GmbH.

The contract for CG includes the electrical engineering as well as supply, installation and commissioning of HV/MV equipment, including power transformers and other associated electrical equipment, which will be installed at the 400 MW offshore substation for the Veja Mate wind farm, states CG in the press release.

The 400 MW Veja Mate wind farm is located over 100 kilometres off the German coast in the North Sea.

Veja Mate will produce enough electricity for over 280,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by over 570,000 tons per year. The project will be brought online before the end of 2017.
