125 MVA transformer installed at a Siberian power plant

 Russia, Siberia: Siberian Generating Company has commissioned a new 125 MVA transformer at Tom-Usinsk Power Plant as part of the project to improve the reliability of the largest power plant in Kuzbass.

The new transformer has been installed at Unit 3, which has a capacity of 100 MW, reports Advis.

It replaced the aged equipment which was first put into operation in 1959.
