F.A.Q.
Supporting Subheading
A high-voltage disconnector provides an isolation point in an electrical system so that equipment or circuits can be separated for maintenance and other approved switching operations.
A standard disconnector is generally not designed to interrupt load current or fault current. Switching operations must follow the equipment rating, approved sequence, and applicable interlocking requirements.
Depending on the model, manual or motor-operated mechanisms may be available. Confirm the options for the selected product series.
Consider rated voltage, rated current, short-time withstand current, peak withstand current, installation type, operating mechanism, environmental conditions, and applicable standards.
Some configurations can be equipped with an earthing switch. Availability and interlocking arrangements depend on the selected model.
